For ERPs not in the standard list — in-house developed systems, heavily customized commercial ERPs, vertical-specific platforms — Horizon's integration uses a structured discovery and adapter-build methodology. The data model and access pattern are designed jointly with the customer's team.

Horizon connects to legacy ERPs — AS/400-based systems, in-house mainframe applications, decade-old on-premise installations — through database extraction, scheduled file exchange, or custom adapters. The integration is sized realistically for what these environments actually require.

Horizon integrates with Odoo Manufacturing through Odoo's XML-RPC and JSON-RPC APIs, plus PostgreSQL database access for bulk data. Odoo's open-source foundation and modular architecture make integration patterns particularly flexible.

Horizon integrates with Sage X3, Sage 300cloud, Sage 200, and Sage Intacct through Sage's REST APIs and direct database access where applicable. Each Sage product is a distinct ERP with its own integration approach.

Horizon integrates with Acumatica Cloud ERP through Acumatica's contract-based REST API and OData endpoints. Acumatica's mid-market focus and customizable data model align with manufacturers growing out of QuickBooks Enterprise or smaller ERPs.

Horizon integrates with Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform (now Rockwell Automation Plex) through Plex's REST APIs and DataSources framework. Plex's cloud-native architecture and shop-floor focus align with operational manufacturing customers.

Horizon integrates with QAD Adaptive ERP and QAD Cloud ERP through QAD's REST APIs, QXtend integration framework, and Progress OpenEdge database access for older versions. QAD's automotive and life sciences focus aligns with several of Horizon's deployment areas.

Horizon integrates with IFS Cloud (and IFS Applications 10) through the IFS Aurena REST API, the IFS Connect integration framework, and IFS-specific data access patterns. IFS's project-based and service-oriented architecture is reflected in the integration approach.

Pre-built connectors for D365 Finance & Operations and D365 Business Central. F&O integration uses Dataverse and standard OData APIs; BC integration uses the REST API. Production-deployed at customers running both. Native Microsoft Fabric integration for customers using it as the data layer.
